Well I believe all the fight is out of me. Think I'm just gonna call it quits. If something changes down the road, I'll consider returning. But for now, with the small listenership, and the high prices, I just can't see continuing.
I'll still frequent the forum occasionally. Joining  you now Donna.  :(

Sorry to hear that, Trip.

There is a Facebook Group working to bring the changes you all are speaking of here.  Lock for and join the "Digital Broadcasters Networking Group"  We have more power to enact change if we are united in our goals.

I must say that Stardome Digital Media has worked very hard since April to try and make a difference and keep webcasting alive and well. We have been called everything in the book now and beaten like red headed step children from all ends. We institute something to help pay fees and immediately get beat over the head by a small group of webcasters. We lower prices and on Facebook Groups it is said we must be up to something illegal. It doesn't matter what we do to try and help, there is that certain group that does nothing but complain.

Are we ready to throw in the towel like the rest? HELL NO!!!!

We are still here through all the beatings and the service is getting better every day. Wait until you see what is coming in a couple months! LOL

Thanks for sticking in here everyone. We love you guys and gals! All of us work hard to keep this craft alive.

Thanks for nothin' Huh?
I know the feeling.
Don't take it too personally....a lot of people are still feeling burned by CRB ruling. There is a lot of cynicism and lack of trust.
I'm so stressed-out STILL by this-I had plannd this year to be the year I tried to reach some level of profitability now I am worried about being too successful and bankrupting myself.
Just keep up the good work and win them over with your charm!

I don't think I've ever been accused of having charm before. :)

I just wanted to chime in as well and say thank you, Wes.  I appreciate everything you and Stardome Media are doing to keep webcasting alive for all of us small webcasters.  It's frustrating, but remember for every person who complains there are several people who are satisfied and never say anything.  They just keep going about their business.  Thank you.

I also would like to put in a good word for Wes.

After the small webcaster exception ended, I was off the air for several months but largely because of Wes's personal efforts and attention, I'm back on the air doing my music again. After ten years of doing this, it was very hard to give it up! The new minimum-use plan was a great idea.

All the best to Wes and Streamlicensing and continued success!
