Well we are back, but with icecast2 this time.
Shoutcast ver2 is really, really bad. If you change the name of your station, there is no way to change it back. Even, though they tell you to join their page to accomplish that. It doesn't do squat, and then you get spammed by them in your email. >:(

I gave up, and decided to use icecast2 instead. Hopefully it will be stress free! ;)

StreamLicensing Blog / Song delay
« on: September 05, 2016, 12:01:50 PM »
I've set my song delay for the player, but it is still showing the next song before the one playing is ended.
I thought I had seen somewhere on here that it had been fixed. :(
I have it set to 15, should I make it longer?

Does this mean what I think? It says our blanket licensing will continue.

Anyone know who this CX Radio is? I keep getting emails from them with a listing for my station, and I never submitted one to them.

Can anyone tell me what player this is? Or if it's from a cell phone, or is it a ripper?
I've tried for the longest time to find out, without any luck. Can't check if it's a cell phone, since mine doesn't have a data plan.

Well just tried to check in on the forum, and it is dust.
Shame, all that good info on there gone.  :(

Station Playlist / Station Playlist & Creator
« on: January 18, 2012, 06:52:54 PM »
I've used about every broadcast software out there, mac and pc. And at the end of the day, for the price and what you get, Station Playlist is the best. For $149.00 you can get the studio and creator which will make playlists for you any way you want. Plus it sounds better than any of the others out there. Rivendell I've heard is good, but only if you have a high end soundcard.
I've had SAM since it's inception, and it has always been the most buggy software out there, and way overpriced.
Just my two cents. Take it with a grain of salt.  :)
