Syndicated Shows Available from the Special Rock Network
« on: August 28, 2015, 03:16:49 PM »
Two shows are currently available to Stream Licensing users.
Both shows currently air on FM radio stations.

*RockOn365's Legends of Rock is a show that plays both old and new songs by Classic Rock bands as well as some of the best new artists in the world. Many times playing songs before other radio stations have a copy to play. The show has a strong backing from Classic Rock bands. The show is 2 hours 45 minutes long with 15 minutes for local broadcasts. This show has been in syndication for 4 years.

*Saturday Night Sound Check with your host Larry Rust (former Iron Butterfly keyboardist and vocalist), Larry will talk about his days with Iron Butterfly, in the studio and meeting famous Rock artists. Songs from bands he toured with and some songs from the Woodstock era. The show is 1 hour and 50 minutes long with 10 minutes for local programming. This show will be available in blocks of 15 shows. Larry will take 15 weeks off to tour then record another 15 weeks. Most affiliates re-air his shows when he is on tour. It seems to work well.

Larry passed away November 25, 2016. We have about 30 two hour shows and we may produce a few new shows from his demo season.

Another new show is "That Gosh Darn Hippie Show" with on-air host "Kiki the Hippie". This is a one hour show with 5 minutes for local broadcasting featuring the best of the vinyl era.

Request information to have access to previews and older show files. Send me an email studio@srrocks.com Remember to send us information about your radio station when you make the request.

All of our shows have proven that they can get you advertising sponsors by being on FM radio stations. Both shows have been aired on commercial and public radio stations through out the world.

Every week you will find two playlist files in the download folder. One a CSV file for you to use for Royalty information and the other with information about the show. Shows will be made available in one hour blocks at 128 kbps. We use Dropbox for a delivery that is generally available on Sunday's.

We intend to offer up to a dozen quality shows in our catalog by 2019. We will also make available our holiday specials and radio specials. Radio specials featuring new albums has the band granting royalty free air play in exchange for airing the show.

We can also provide drops and 30 second promos for your radio station.

The shows may not be altered without written permission and are covered by US copyright laws.

Please visit http://www.specialrocknetwork.net or http://www.specialrocknetwork.com for more information.

Please use your radio station email address when you contact us. Only stations that have proper Royalty license will be allowed to air our shows.

We have around 20 terrestrial radio stations airing the show in the USA and Canada and may begin to limit the number of Internet radio stations air the show at the end of the year. Now is the best time to grandfather your station into our syndication.

Edited July 17, 2017.

Released in January 2016.

Houston out of Seattle
This show may feature a lot of the Seattle music scene but could range into other musical areas of the world. The show is planning interviews and may only play a couple of songs. The first interview is Ben Smith the drummer for the band Heart. The show is 55 minutes long with 5 minutes for local broadcasting. Your host is  Raymond Hayden.

Any questions about the shows?
