Client Area unable to access.
« on: November 01, 2017, 03:28:26 AM »
Try to get onto my client area this morning at 06:30 AM EDT. I'm just getting a blank screen.

Has anyone else having this issue.

Yup, same here.  And I had just altered my station name, description and genre for the day to reflect my Halloween programming.  Now I'm stuck being listed as a Halloween station.  It's been like this since last night by the way.

Yep.

And before it went down, I had submitted a ticket due to not being able to upload a syndicated playlist.  So of course, I cannot check on the status of it.

Cannot submit revenue/expense reports.

Sl, or O2, or whatever their alias is this week, is going to hell in a bucket.

Well I think this is the end of streamlicensing.

We maybe in violation with all the pro's. now.

Hope this is only a software glitch.

I talked to somebody at SL this afternoon and apparently they are in the process of moving hosting services for the web site to a new provider.  I pointed out that they probably should have let their clients know about this downtime and they still can to which he agreed, but I haven't seen anything change since.  They really still should send out an email with an explanation to let us know when these services (which we're paying for) will resume.  On top of that, it seems they have stopped answering tickets.  This causes plenty of anxiety and speculation when they leave us in the dark about things like this and sadly it's becoming a regular occurrence.

Well it would have been nice to know they are doing something like this.

Next thing you know we will all get canceled because we didn't pay on time. shakes my head.

I do find it funny that with these web host changes, they are still able to send out invoices..... TWICE!

SL seems to suffer on the part of communications, anda I think they forget they have paying customers.  :(

I agree.  I hear you.  The funny thing is, if any of us needed to change our payment options at this point for any reason, like an expired or stolen credit card, we can't even do that without the client area.  I wonder if they even realize that?

A little communication would go a long way. When Wes says he doesn't know what's going on, that's a problem. The system is working enough to change my credit card though. The rumors are flying all over the interwebs, if I were SL I would want to get my side out before the rumors prevail.

Transitor...here is letter is sent via e-mail you can get contact e-mail via Oi2

Hi Anthony, There are numerous questions that need to be answered regarding what is going on right now with Streamlicensing, other than "rumor" that you are migrating systems. (Hey Transistor you spoke to someone at SL what is their number...so we can get a direct explanation...

Mr.Bill (forum name) and others have figured out how to work around the Launch page failure...but the inability to contact anyone regarding any issues I.e.: reporting for the Month, Tech or Billing issues of any kind is highly disconcerting. I'm sure if that was done to you,you wouldn't like it.

Hopefully you'll respond or have someone respond to this on the Streamlicensing forum or via e-mail directly on the current problems at hand.

Respectfully. what so hard about keeping customers updated?

Best regards,

David LaBonte

The number I used is the one on the "Contact Us" page:
1-407-601-0332

Good luck getting a hold of anybody now though.  It says the mailbox is full. ???

Hi, to those keeping an eye on what is going on... I did receive an answer today on what's currently happening...as the mission is to get the word out...

Dear Mr. LaBonte:

Migrating and upgrading servers is not just a rumor, it is true. I apologize for the lack of communications. The short-form technical reason is that our ability to send emails to all of the people we serve got caught in the migration.

We should have an update to everyone, via email, today.

Our purpose for these changes is to provide the most accurate accounting for the PROs in the industry, to make sure they get their fair share of monies owed, but not a cent more. This is a savings that we intend to pass along to our customers.

Customer service is our primary goal, and you should see a significant improvement in that area soon.

Thank you for your patience and loyalty.

in my reply I asked how this is impacting licensing new stations... will pass that answer along as well when I get one....
